About Refer and Earn Made Simple

Refer and Earn is a simple, user-friendly, plug and play type of app intended for Shopify merchants looking to start a viral referral marketing campaign for their store. Referral marketing has 3 key stakeholders:

• Merchant – who configures and sets up the referral campaign through the app and decides the rules and rewards of the same.
• Referrer – who uses the app to refer a friend by sharing the campaign offer through his/her network. Depending on the rules of the campaign set by the merchant, the referrer gets a reward in the form of a discount coupon. The discount coupon can be used on a specific product or on anything in the store. Referrer is identified with the help of a unique email id and is required to register as a user of the online store that is running the campaign.
• Referee – is a person accepts the referral offer and redeems the discount coupon by making a purchase. The same email ID cannot be referred more than once for a particular campaign. In other words, each referral needs to be unique. This is determined based on the email id. Every shopper has to login to purchase/redeem a referral offer.
